What is the VIP Fellow

The VIP Fellow in Facial Plastic Surgery by Dr. Helena Ramos is an exclusive program aimed at doctors who want to deepen their knowledge of rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics through direct observation of surgical practice and close contact with the specialist. The main concepts (basic and advanced) of preservation rhinoplasty and hybrid rhinoplasty will be presented, in addition to authorial techniques (endoliplift and nasal wing rotation). 

Program objectives:

  • Provide direct contact with surgical practice in rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics
  • Share Techniques, surgical planning and decision making
  • Stimulate the Aesthetic-Functional Reasoning Applied to facial surgery
  • Offer theoretical learning structured through Exclusive online course

Observational program, with up to two Fellows per edition, duration of three days (Tuesday to Thursday), including hospital activities, clinics and online content.

The Week Before

Strategic preparation via an exclusive online masterclass with Dr. Helena Ramos, based on her published scientific research.

In this meeting, the following will be discussed:

  • Conceptual fundamentals of facial plastic surgery
  • Critical analysis of aesthetic-functional reasoning
  • Principles that support natural and elegant results
  • Intellectual preparation for the practical immersion

This session ensures the doctor is prepared to maximize the surgical observation with greater technical depth.

Tuesday

immersion in the hospital surgical routine

The face-to-face experience begins with exclusive hospital rounds. Participants will have direct access to Dr. Helena Ramos’s surgical routine, observing two surgeries with a focus on:

  • Real Surgical Planning
  • Intraoperative decision making
  • Detailed anatomical analysis
  • Technical strategy applied to each case

More than observing the technique, the doctor starts to understand the surgical reasoning that supports consistent results.

Wednesday

technical refinement and strategic mentoring

Day dedicated to the technical deepening at Dr. Helena Ramos’ clinic. Includes:

Elective Online Module (Participant selects one specialized track).

  • Discussion of advanced technical concepts
  • Clinical indication analysis
  • Refinement of surgical judgment

At the end of the day, a moment of direct mentoring with Dr. Helena Ramos, aimed at:

Thursday

Practical consolidation and closure

Last day of immersion with New hospital surgical observation, allowing the participant to consolidate the concepts learned during the program.

At this point, the focus is:

  • Reinforce aesthetic-functional reasoning
  • Understand different surgical approaches
  • Consolidate the practical learning obtained throughout the experience

The program ends with Closing conversation with Dr. Helena Ramos, where the main learnings and directions for the participant’s professional evolution are discussed.

Who is Dr. Helena Ramos?

Official Member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery

Dr. Helena Ramos built her career on a solid academic foundation at institutions of excellence. A graduate of the Catanduva Faculty of Medicine, she specialized at the prestigious Hospital das Clínicas (USP) and earned her PhD in Otorhinolaryngology from the University of São Paulo (FMUSP)—one of the most respected medical centers in Latin America.

She deepened her expertise with a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery at FMUSP and expanded her international perspective through an observational internship at Stanford University (USA), integrating the latest in technique, science, and innovation.

As a member of the Brazilian Society of Otorhinolaryngology and the Brazilian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Helena combines rigorous scientific knowledge, technical refinement, and aesthetic sensitivity to offer minimally invasive procedures and facial surgeries with natural, harmonic, and individualized results.
